Questions and answers
What Dawnboox does, what it does not, and what happens when a network says no.
The beta
How do I get an account? +
By invitation. Dawnboox is in a closed beta and accounts are created from an emailed link, so there is no open sign-up form yet. Ask for a place and we will send you one when it is your turn — we are letting people in a few at a time so we can actually read what everyone tells us.
How long will I wait? +
We are deliberately not promising a date. Places open as fast as we can support the people already in, and we would rather say nothing than say two weeks and be wrong. What you told us you post is the only thing that decides the order.
My invitation expired. Now what? +
Ask again with the same address and we will send a fresh one. You do not go back to the end of the queue — the row is still there, and inviting you a second time simply replaces the old link.
Will I be charged during the beta? +
No. Nothing is on sale during the beta and there is no card field anywhere in the product. Standard works like this: Free for everyone in the beta, until paid plans open. When they open, you will be told what each plan costs and you choose one or stay on Free — nobody is charged automatically.
The basics
What is Dawnboox? +
A publisher for the social accounts you already run. You write one caption, attach the video or the photos once, tick the accounts it should go to, and choose whether it goes now or at a time you pick. Dawnboox then delivers it to each account separately and tells you how each one went.
Which networks can I post to? +
TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Threads and Facebook. Those are the five Dawnboox can publish to today; anything else you may see mentioned elsewhere is not connected.
How do I connect an account? +
From the Accounts screen, pick a network and sign in to it. You are sent to that network’s own login, you approve the access there, and you come straight back. Dawnboox never sees or stores your password for any network — only the access it grants.
Can I connect more than one account on the same network? +
Yes, as many as you look after. Two TikToks, three Instagrams, a personal one and a business one — each appears as its own tick box in the composer. One Facebook sign-in can add several accounts at once: an Instagram account or a Page for each Page you manage.
What does it cost? +
There is a free plan and there are paid ones. Free connects three accounts and holds thirty scheduled posts at a time, which is enough to run a couple of profiles properly. Paid plans lift both of those limits, let you add teammates and run several brands, keep every post’s figures rather than the last thirty days, unlock read-only report links for clients, and add bulk scheduling from a CSV. What they cost is announced at launch; you are never charged without choosing a plan, and cancelling takes one click — you keep the plan you paid for until the period you have already paid for ends.
Posting and scheduling
What can I attach to a post? +
Video and images, and it depends on the network. TikTok takes a video or a photo carousel up to 35 images. Instagram takes up to 10 items with video and images mixed. YouTube takes one video. Threads takes text on its own, one image or video, or a carousel up to 20. Facebook takes text on its own, a link, photos or one video. The composer checks what you have attached against each account you have ticked while you are still typing.
How big a video can I upload? +
Big. Your file goes from your browser straight to storage rather than through our server, so the usual upload ceiling does not apply — a four-gigabyte video is fine on a paid plan. Each network still enforces its own limit on size and length, and Dawnboox checks yours against those before you post rather than after.
Will it really go out at the time I picked? +
Yes. Your timezone is detected from your browser and stored together with the post, so 06:45 means 06:45 where you were when you scheduled it — not where the server happens to be. You can also skip scheduling and publish immediately.
Can I set different options per network on the same post? +
Yes, and the composer only offers what that network actually supports. TikTok asks who can see the post, with the choices your account is genuinely permitted to use. YouTube asks for a title, a category, a visibility and whether the video is made for kids. Facebook can attach a link and its preview card. Networks with nothing extra to ask simply do not ask.
Can I edit or cancel a post after scheduling it? +
Both, right up until it goes out. Open the post and choose Edit to change the caption, the media, the accounts or the time — it opens in the composer with everything already filled in. Once a network has been handed the post it is out of our hands, so editing stops at that point, and cancelling stops only the accounts it has not reached yet.
When something goes wrong
What if one network rejects my post? +
Only that account is marked failed, and the reason the network gave is printed against it. The other accounts are unaffected and go out as normal. A failed delivery is retried automatically up to five times, with the gap between attempts growing from about a minute to about an hour, and you can also retry it yourself from the Posts screen.
Why does a post say it is waiting in my TikTok drafts? +
TikTok requires an app to pass its own review before it may publish straight to a profile. Until that review is complete, your video is delivered into your TikTok drafts instead, and you finish posting it in the TikTok app. Dawnboox says so plainly rather than claiming the post is live.
Why am I being asked to reconnect an account? +
The access a network granted has expired or been withdrawn — usually because you changed your password there, revoked the app, or simply enough time passed. Dawnboox warns you before it expires where the network tells us the date, and reconnecting takes one click.
Can I see how a post did? +
Yes. Once a post is out, Dawnboox reads the public counts each network reports about it — views, likes, comments, shares — and shows them against that post, per account, with the curve over the first few weeks. Every network counts differently, so the figures stay separate rather than being added into one total that would mean nothing. The free plan keeps the last thirty days; paid plans keep everything. On Standard and above you can also generate a read-only link to your workspace’s figures and send it to a client — they see the same numbers with no account of their own, and you can revoke the link at any time.
Will I know when a post publishes or fails? +
If you want. Dawnboox can email you when a post publishes and when one fails, including what the network said. You can turn that off in Settings; security emails, such as a sign-in from a device you have not used before, are always sent.
Your account and your data
How is my account kept secure? +
Your session lives in a cookie no script on the page can read, so nothing in your browser can leak it. Settings lists every device signed in to your account with roughly where it is, and you can sign any of them out. You get an email the first time a new device appears, and changing your password signs out your other devices by default. The one thing that is deliberately reachable without signing in is a client report link you chose to create — it shows only that workspace’s aggregate figures, never a credential or anything else in your account, and you can revoke it at any time.
What happens to my email address if I only join the waitlist? +
It is kept so we can send you an invitation, and used for nothing else — no newsletter, no marketing list, and it is never passed to anyone. Ask us and we will delete it. If you never take up a place, that address is all we ever hold about you.
Can I disconnect a social account? +
At any time, in one click from the Accounts screen. Dawnboox immediately stops having access to it. You can also revoke Dawnboox from the network’s own settings, which has the same effect.
Can I close my account? +
Yes. Email us and we will close it. Your data is then handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
What should I do if something is broken? +
Tell us. Email support and include what you were trying to post and to which network, and we will look into it.
Boring where it counts
Every device, listed
Settings shows each browser signed in to your account and roughly where from. Revoke any of them from there, and you get an email the first time a new one appears.
The token never reaches your browser
Your access token stays server-side in a cookie no script can read. Nothing on the page can leak it.
Leave when you like
Disconnect any social account from Dawnboox in one click, and it stops having access.
Still stuck?
A real person reads this address. Tell us what you were posting and where to, and we will look into it.
